Celebrating an icon of british culture – the corner shop.
An investigative editorial / photography project, highlighting the value of corner shops within local communities, especially during the onset of Covid-19 in 2020.

Documented through photographs, interviews with shop owners themselves and a collection of survey responses from customers, this project looks the imapct that corner shops have on the day to day experiences of the communities they serve as well as the impact they have throughout our lives.

All photographs / interviews / surverys were done in and around Winton, in Bournemouth.
