The Future of Buildings

An editorial article based off of Marc Krushner’s Ted Talk (found here). The layout and imagery were influenced by the context of the talk - exploring the relationship between architecture and ourselves as a society.

The photography featured in this article was shot around Bournemouth to capture buildings sharing similar architectural features. Looking at textures and forms found in these buildings reflecting the architecture styles mentioned in the talk. Applying colour overlays on top of the photographs gave them a heavily filtered feel - taking inspiration from the quote ‘we are all architecture photographers now’  – recreating old school instagram filters.
